At 0715 hrs on Wednsday morning, Finderne Fire was dispatched to the area of Union Ave and Billion St for the reported overturn motor vehicle with unknown entrapment. 30 - A2, Asst. Chief Binkley, arrived on scene with 2 vehicle's on their side with negative entrapment. At this time, the response was held to Engine 101 with the Rescue standing by in headquarters. The crew from the Engine secured the batteries on both vehicles and cleared the scene within 30 minutes.
At 0530 hrs on Thursday morning, Finderne Fire was dispatched to Ushy 22 West in the area of Vosseller Ave for the reported overturn vehicle. While en route, Bridgewater PD advised Chief Mangino that there was one confirmed entrapment. Engine 101 called in service followed by Rescue 1. Prior to arriving on scene, the Fire Department was advised the subject was extricated by Medic Unit 681 (FF/Medic Hogan and FF/Medic Buckley) Th Engine crew secured the battery of the vehicle while the Rescue crew stood by until the arrival of Bound Brook BLS. Patient was turned over to Bound Brook EMS and all Finderne units cleared the scene.
