- Support at Fire Scenes (non-hazardous):
- Assist with traffic control.
- Carry supplies and equipment to firefighters.
- Roll hoses and help with exterior tasks.
- Station & Community Work:
- Participate in fundraising, public education, and fire prevention events.
- Help maintain equipment and facilities.
- Training & Learning:
- Attend drills and classes to learn firefighting basics, safety, and first aid.
- Shadow senior firefighters to understand hazards and emergency protocols.
- Life Skills: Teamwork, discipline, leadership, and responsibility.
- Career Preparation: Exposure to fire service operations builds readiness for future certification and employment.
- Community Service: Encourages volunteerism and strengthens ties between youth and local emergency services.

- Social members support the fire department in non-emergency capacities, focusing on community, fundraising, and administrative tasks.
- They help ensure the department has the resources and morale needed to operate effectively.
- Fundraising & Events: Organize dinners, raffles, fairs, or other community events to raise money for equipment and training.
- Community Outreach: Promote fire safety awareness, represent the department at public functions, and strengthen ties with residents.
- Administrative Support: Assist with clerical work, record-keeping, and communications.
- Logistical Help: Provide meals, hydration, or rest support for firefighters during extended incidents.
- Membership Engagement: Help plan social activities that build camaraderie among firefighters and their families.
- Social members do not participate in fire suppression or emergency response.
- They are not required to complete firefighter training or certifications.
